Duik 15 – Duduf

Conference lead by Nicolas Dufresne (Duduf), director and lead developper of Duik.
Beginning the event, half a day to preview Duik 15 and all its new features.
Duduf will speak about Duik history, how it was developped and about the choice of releasing it as free software; there will be a complete preview of Duik, especially new features of version 15.
Compositing Techniques – Ankama Animations

Conference lead by compositors from Ankama Animations.
Ankama Animations is a major company creating cartoons in the north of France. They produced Wakfu (two seasons) and Kerubim, animated TV series, and a lot of other projects. They’re currently working on their first feature animation Dofus, which will be released in theaters in 2016.
Some people from the compositing team will show their methods and advanced techniques with After Effects: Creating and rigging special effects, animation, cameras, 3D and camera mapping…
Music video production – Wasaru

Conference lead by Thomas Fourniret, a French musician and music video director. He directed videos for Sage Francis and Le Peuple de l’Herbe. Watch his videos.
Through actual examples from his projects, Wasaru will speak about how he works, both with live action and animation, and how he uses After Effects in his projects.
A look at how he worked on Parler le Fracas, a music video for Le Peuple de l’herbe, will show you how to create a music video entirely animated with After Effects and Duik.
Feature film production – Yenaphe
Saturday 5th, 2:00 pm
Conférence lead by Sébastien Périer, After Effects madman. He was irresponsible engouh to produce a board game with After Effects, after having worked in the wonderful world of animation production.
He’s now throwing himself in the production and direction of his first feature film 100% made with After Effects: Mythomen.
